Louisiana High School Football - Varnado routed by Riverside Academy
October 28, 2022: Angie, LA 70426 The Varnado Wildcats football team (Angie, LA), was ripped 56-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA)
The Rebels (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA). The Pioneers come into the 1A District 10 challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Crescent City Christian was ripped by West St. John (Edgard, LA), 64-0, in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Martin's Episcopal for a 1A District 10 challenge on Friday, November 4. Varnado will meet a Saints team coming off a 40-0 league win over Cohen (New Orleans, LA). The Saints record now stands at 8-1.
