October 28, 2022: Saltillo, MS 38866 In Friday's league match, the visiting West Point Green Wave football squad scored a big 49-6 victory over the Saltillo Tigers.
In their next game, the Green Wave clash with the Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS) in a 5A Region 1 match, on Friday, November 4. West Point will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 5-5 record after their 15-14 league win over Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS).
The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their match against New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Trojans enter the 5A Region 1 match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, New Hope was crushed by Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS), 32-12, in a league match.
