October 28, 2022: Westford, MA 01886 In Friday's league game, the Westford Academy Grey Ghosts (Westford, MA) football team knocked off the visiting Wayland Warriors (Wayland, MA), by a score of 37-7.
The Grey Ghosts (6-2) will now prepare for their game against King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, King Philip Regional was dropped by North Attleborough (North Attleborough, MA), 24-14, in a league game.
The Warriors now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weston for a non-league game on Thursday, November 24. Wayland will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 48-6 non-league win over Boston English (Boston, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.
