October 28, 2023: Cove, AR 71937 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cossatot River Eagles (Cove, AR) and the visiting Mulberry Yellowjackets (Mulberry, AR), saw Cossatot River's basketball squad wallop Mulberry by a tally of 91-64.
With the victory, Cossatot River improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Acorn (Mena, AR) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 31. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Scranton Rockets (Scranton, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 30. Mulberry will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 48-33 non-league win over Union Christian Academy (Fort Smith, AR).
