The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) and the visiting Belmont Charter Tigers (Philadelphia, PA), observed Academy of the New Church's football squad defeat Belmont Charter by a count of 43-20.

The Lions now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Girard for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 4. Academy of the New Church will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 21-14 non-league loss to Eisenhower (Russell, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-7.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the High School of the Future (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 23. Belmont Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 14-8 non-league win over Boys' Latin Charter (Philadelphia, PA).
