October 28, 2023: Newark, DE 19702 The Appoquinimink Jaguars football team (West Middletown, DE), was tipped 21-14 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles (Newark, DE)
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Salesianum (Wilmington, DE). The Sallies come into the 3A District 1 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Salesianum nipped Middletown (Middletown, DE), 37-14, in a league challenge.
The Jaguars now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host William Penn for a 3A District 1 challenge on Friday, November 3. Appoquinimink will meet a Colonials team coming off a 24-14 league loss to St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE). The Colonials record now stands at 3-5.
