New York High School Football - Bayside drops to Midwood
October 28, 2023: Bayside, NY 11361 In Saturday's league game, the Midwood Hornets (Brooklyn, NY) football team knocked off the host Bayside Commodores (Bayside, NY), by a final score of 28-14.
The Hornets (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln (Brooklyn, NY). The Railsplitters come into the PSAL AAAA game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Lincoln toppled Madison (Brooklyn, NY), 27-0, in a league game.
The Commodores now hold a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host New Utrecht for a PSAL AAAA game on Sunday, October 29. Bayside will battle a Utes team coming off a 14-6 league win over Eagle Academy II (Brooklyn, NY). The Utes record now stands at 3-4.
