Rhode Island High School Football - Chariho falls to Portsmouth
October 28, 2024: Portsmouth, RI 02871 The Portsmouth Patriots felled the visiting Chariho Chargers football team by a score of 22-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots play the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 2. Portsmouth will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Hawks go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 22-13 non-league win over Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA).
The Chargers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI). The PRIDE go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Blackstone Valley Prep was dropped by North Providence (North Providence, RI), 14-0, in a non-league challenge.
