October 28, 2024: Johnston, RI 02919 The Johnston Panthers football squad scored 32 points and limited the visiting Pilgrim Patriots to 8 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Classical for a non-league test on Monday, November 4. Johnston will meet a Purple squad coming off a 26-8 non-league loss to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Purple record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Pilgrim drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI) to meet the Chieftains in a non-league test on Monday, November 4. The Chieftains come into the test with a record of 4-1. Ponaganset won 26-8 in their recent non-league test against Classical (Providence, RI)
