October 28, 2024: Leland, NC 28451 Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Topsail advances its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Laney (Wilmington, NC) to clash with the Buccaneers in a test on Wednesday, October 30. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 16-0. Laney won 9-0 in their recent league test against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)
The Scorpions now have a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashley for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 30. North Brunswick will clash with a Screaming Eagle team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 11-5.
