October 28, 2025: McLean, VA 22101 The Langley Saxons tipped the visiting George C. Marshall Statesmen football squad by a margin of 26-20 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Saxons now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Washington-Liberty for a non-league test on Thursday, November 6. Langley will meet a Generals squad coming off a 43-16 league loss to Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Generals record now stands at 1-6.
With the defeat, George C. Marshall falls to 3-4 on the year. The Statesmen host Herndon (Herndon, VA) to face the Hornets in a non-league game on Thursday, November 6. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 3-4. Herndon lost 29-7 in their recent non-league outing against Wakefield School (The Plains, VA)
