In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Bakersfield Drillers volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Bishop Union Broncos.

Next up, the Drillers face the Immanuel Eagles (Reedley, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 30. Bakersfield will attempt to advance on its 13-10 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 19-16 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Minarets (O'Neals, CA).
