Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Captain Shreve upgrades its record to 13-23 on the campaign. The Gators host Byrd (Shreveport, LA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a Division I District 1 challenge on Wednesday, October 29. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 32-7. Byrd won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Airline (Bossier City, LA)

Next up, the Bearcats face the Loyola College Prep Flyers (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 30. Ruston will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record. The Flyers come into the outing with a 15-8 record after their 3-2 non-league win over West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA).
