Virginia High School Football - Twin Valley drops to Grundy
October 29, 2021: Pilgrims Knob, VA 24634 In Friday's league game, the Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) football team knocked off the host Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA), by a score of 52-26.
The Golden Wave (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Central (Norton, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Central toppled Gate City (Gate City, VA), 28-0, in a league game.
The Panthers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hurley for a Black Diamond game on Friday, November 5. Twin Valley will battle a Rebels team coming off a 48-22 non-league win over Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Rebels record now stands at 2-5.
