In Saturday's non-league contest, the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) volleyball squad edged the host Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Patriots battle the North Bend Central Tigers (North Bend, NE) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, November 2. Adams Central will attempt to better on its 24-9 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 30-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE).

With the loss, Pierce drops to 29-3 on the campaign.
