The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC), saw Perquimans's volleyball squad beat Falls Lake by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Perquimans upgrades its record to 25-1 on the year. The Pirates host Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 1. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 20-6. Roxboro Community won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC)

The Firebirds now own a 24-2 record.
