The Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Union Academy upgrades its record to 27-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to play the Villains in a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 1. The Villains go into the outing with a record of 24-5. Bishop McGuinness won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC)

The Rams now own a 22-4 record.
