Georgia High School Flag Football - Walton holds off Etowah
October 29, 2024: Marietta, GA 30062 The Walton Raiders flag football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Etowah Eagles to 14 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Raiders now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Langston Hughes for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 30. Walton will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 26-7 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-0.
With the defeat, Etowah drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cherokee (Canton, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a D4 Area 5 test on Thursday, November 7. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 7-6. Cherokee won 14-13 in their recent league test against North Paulding (Dallas, GA)
