Michigan High School Volleyball - Walled Lake Northern can't get by Grosse Pointe South

Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grosse Pointe South improves its record to 18-14 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to face the Crusaders in a Macomb Area - Red test on Wednesday, October 30. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 24-10. L'Anse Creuse North won 3-1 in their recent league test against Romeo (Romeo, MI)

The Knights now own a 11-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Novi for a non-league test on Saturday, November 2. Walled Lake Northern will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Salem (Canton, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-11.
