Virginia High School Volleyball - Atlee edged by Powhatan
October 3, 2022: Mechanicsville, VA 23116 The Powhatan Indians held off the host Atlee Raiders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Indians now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midlothian for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. Powhatan will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.
The Raiders (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Springers enter the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Highland Springs was nudged by Caroline (Milford, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
