October 3, 2022: Chesterfield, VA 23838 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Monacan Chiefs (Richmond, VA) and the host Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), saw Monacan's volleyball squad nip Matoaca by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Monacan upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Chiefs host L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA) to play the Skyhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a record of 0-5. L.C. Bird lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Midlothian (Midlothian, VA)
