October 3, 2022: Beardstown, IL 62618 Beardstown Tigers (Beardstown, IL) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lutheran/Calvary Crusaders (Springfield, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Carlinville Cavaliers (Carlinville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 6. Beardstown will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 4-1 league win over Staunton (Staunton, IL).
The Crusaders now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Meridian/Sangamon Valley for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 6. Lutheran/Calvary will confront a Hawks team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over St. Teresa (Decatur, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 8-9.
