October 3, 2022: Pavilion, NY 14525 Pavilion Golden Gophers (Pavilion, NY) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Wheatland-Chili Wildcats (Scottsville, NY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Gophers confront the Geneseo Blue Devils (Geneseo, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 5. Pavilion will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Le Roy (Le Roy, NY).
The Wildcats now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Attica for a Genesee challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Wheatland-Chili will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Albion (Albion, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-0.
