October 3, 2022: Berwick, ME 03906 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) and the host Noble Knights (Berwick, ME), saw Thornton Academy's volleyball squad beat Noble by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Thornton Academy upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Windham (Windham, ME) to play the Eagles in a Class A bout on Wednesday, October 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Windham lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Sanford (Sanford, ME)
The Knights now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Westbrook for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 5. Noble will play a Blue Blazes squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME). The Blue Blazes record now stands at 2-8.
