Kansas High School Soccer - Bishop Miege knocks off Tonganoxie
October 3, 2023: Shawnee Mission, KS 66205 Bishop Miege Stags (Shawnee Mission, KS) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Tonganoxie Chieftains (Tonganoxie, KS), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Stags face the Rockhurst Hawklets (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Bishop Miege will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Hawklets enter the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO).
The Chieftains now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Louisburg for a Frontier challenge on Thursday, October 5. Tonganoxie will face a Wildcats team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-9.
