Illinois High School Soccer - Quincy knocks off Sterling
October 3, 2023: Sterling, IL 61081 Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils confront the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders (Quincy, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Quincy will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL).
The Golden Warriors now have a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geneseo for a Western Big 6 challenge on Thursday, October 5. Sterling will confront a Maple Leafs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Alleman (Rock Island, IL). The Maple Leafs record now stands at 1-11.
