New York High School Volleyball - Troy edged by Bethlehem Central
October 3, 2023: Troy, NY 12180 The Bethlehem Central Eagles held off the host Troy Flying Horses volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles now have a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia for a Section 2 Suburban - Grey test on Tuesday, October 10. Bethlehem Central will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 17-7.
The Flying Horses (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY). The Silver Warriors enter the Section 2 Suburban - Grey test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Niskayuna was nudged by Galway (Galway, NY), 3-0, in a non-league test.
