October 3, 2023: Springfield, VA 22152 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) and the visiting Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), saw West Springfield's volleyball squad beat Fairfax by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, West Springfield upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to play the Bruins in a Patriot bout on Thursday, October 5. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Lake Braddock won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Robinson (Fairfax, VA)
The Lions now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host South County for a Patriot bout on Thursday, October 5. Fairfax will play a Stallions squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 2-8.
