October 3, 2024: Groom, TX 79039 The Groom Tigers walloped the visiting Silverton Owls football team by a score of 58-20 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Follett Panthers (Follett, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 1 (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 18. Groom will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
The Owls (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Spur (Spur, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 5 (6 Man) challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Spur bounced O'Donnell (O'Donnell, TX), 48-28, in a non-league challenge.
