October 3, 2024: Hedgesville, WV 25427 The Jefferson Cougars felled the host Hedgesville Eagles football team by a score of 42-13 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars face the South Hagerstown Rebels (Hagerstown, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 11. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 13-7 non-league loss to Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD).
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Sykesville, MD). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Liberty toppled Winters Mill (Westminster, MD), 35-6, in a league challenge.
