Iowa High School Football - Waukee trounces Lincoln
October 3, 2024: Des Moines, IA 50315 In Thursday's league match, the visiting Waukee Warriors football squad scored a decisive 56-0 triumph over the Lincoln Railsplitters.
The Warriors (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Rams come into the 5A Group 2 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Southeast Polk was routed by Johnston (Johnston, IA), 34-0, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Railsplitters confront the Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) in a 5A Group 2 match, on Friday, October 11. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Black Raiders come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 63-35 league win over Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA).
