South Dakota High School Football - Lower Brule smashes Tiospa Zina
October 3, 2024: Agency Village, SD 57262 The Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD) football trounced the host Tiospa Zina Wambdi (Agency Village, SD), 50-0 in Thursday's league outing.
The Sioux now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Crow Creek for a All-Nations - Central (9 Man) outing on Thursday, October 10. Lower Brule will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 62-8 league loss to Omaha Nation (Macy, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-6.
With the defeat, Tiospa Zina drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wambdi travel to Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD) to play the Indians in a All-Nations - Central (9 Man) battle on Friday, October 11. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 1-5. Flandreau Indian lost 52-6 in their recent league battle against Marty Indian (Marty, SD)
