New York High School Football - Solvay edged by Marcellus
October 3, 2024: Solvay, NY 13209 The Marcellus Mustangs edged the host Solvay Bearcats football team by a score of 29-28 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights (Syracuse, NY) in a Section 3 C - West challenge, on Friday, October 11. Marcellus will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Gaelic Knights enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 41-37 league win over Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY).
The Bearcats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cazenovia (Cazenovia, NY). The Lakers enter the Section 3 C - West challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Cazenovia held off Southern Hills [Tully/LaFayette/Fabius Pompey] (Tully, NY), 40-20, in a league challenge.
