October 3, 2024: Moorhead, MN 56560 Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting East Grand Forks Green Wave (East Grand Forks, MN), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Moorhead moves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Spuds host St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN) to clash with the Knights in a Class AA Section 8 test on Saturday, October 5. The Knights come into the test with a record of 10-4. St. Michael-Albertville 1-1 in their recent league test against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN)
The Green Wave now sport a 7-4 record.
