October 3, 2024: Concord, NC 28027 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) and the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), witnessed A.L. Brown's football squad knock off Cox Mill by a tally of 33-15.
The Wonders (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Lake Norman was outscored by West Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 14-7, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Chargers confront the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 10. Cox Mill will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 54-6 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC).
