North Carolina High School Football - C.B. Aycock can't hold off South Johnston
October 3, 2024: Pikeville, NC 27863 South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC), 8-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, South Johnston improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Trojans host Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC) to play the Saints in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. The Saints go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Golden Falcons now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Fike for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. C.B. Aycock will play a Demons team coming off a 40-6 non-league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Demons record now stands at 3-3.
