Illinois High School Soccer - St. Patrick nudges Chicago Academy
October 3, 2024: Chicago, IL 60634 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Chicago Academy Cougars (Chicago, IL), saw St. Patrick's soccer squad hold off Chicago Academy by a count of 3-2.
The Shamrocks (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Saint Viator was edged by Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Cougars battle the Lake View Wildcats (Chicago, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 5. Chicago Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Solorio (Chicago, IL).
