Colorado High School Softball - Chaparral bounces Cherokee Trail
October 3, 2024: Aurora, CO 80016 The Chaparral Wolverines softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Cherokee Trail Cougars to 0 in the Wolverines non-league win on Thursday.
The Wolverines now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castle View for a battle on Saturday, October 5. Chaparral will confront a Sabercats team coming off a 17-3 league win over Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Cherokee Trail moves to 11-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Grandview (Aurora, CO) to confront the Wolves in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 3-6. Grandview lost 8-4 in their recent non-league battle against Arapahoe (Centennial, CO)
