Maryland High School Soccer - Mardela toppled by Decatur
October 3, 2024: Berlin, MD 21811 Decatur Seahawks (Berlin, MD) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mardela Warriors (Mardela Springs, MD), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Decatur advances its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Parkside (Salisbury, MD) to clash with the Rams in a Bayside - South test on Tuesday, October 8. The Rams come into the test with a record of 8-0.
The Warriors now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Cambridge-South Dorchester for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Mardela will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Easton (Easton, MD). The Vikings record now stands at 0-8.
