Kansas High School Soccer - Leavenworth toppled by Shawnee Heights
October 3, 2024: Tecumseh, KS 66542 Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Leavenworth PIONEERS (Leavenworth, KS), 7-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Shawnee Heights advances its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host St. Mary's Academy (St. Marys, KS) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league test on Monday, October 7. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 7-5. St. Mary's Academy won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Wichita HomeSchool (Wichita, KS)
The PIONEERS now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host West for a United Kansas test on Tuesday, October 8. Leavenworth will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Topeka (Topeka, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 6-2.
