Oregon High School Soccer - Oregon City knocks off Nelson
October 3, 2024: Happy Valley, OR 97015 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Oregon City Pioneers (Oregon City, OR) and the host Nelson (Happy Valley, OR), saw Oregon City's soccer squad knock off Nelson by a count of 3-0.
The Pioneers (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR). The Lakers enter the 6A Three Rivers battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Lake Oswego tipped Springfield (Springfield, OR), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the battle the Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood battle, on Monday, October 7. Nelson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Pioneers enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Hood River Valley (Hood River, OR).
