October 3, 2024: Fayette, MO 65248 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Fayette Falcons softball team scored a tight 6-3 win over the South Callaway Bulldogs.
The Falcons (12-7) will now prepare for their match against Pilot Grove (Pilot Grove, MO). The Tigers come into the Class 1 District 6 match with a 4-10 record. In their last match, Pilot Grove was routed by New Franklin (New Franklin, MO), 2-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Belle Tigers (Belle, MO) in a Class 2 District 9 match, on Saturday, October 5. South Callaway will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 14-2 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Richland (Richland, MO).
