In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels.

The Coyotes (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Burwell (Burwell, NE). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Burwell beat Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
