In Thursday's non-league match, the Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Northside Grizzlies (Fort Smith, AR), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) in a 6A Central match, on Tuesday, October 8. Central will attempt to move on its 15-2 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 14-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Mount St. Mary Academy (Little Rock, AR).
