Next up, the Wildcats battle the Olentangy Liberty Patriots (Powell, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 5. Northview will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 14-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Hilliard Bradley (Hilliard, OH).

SYLVANIA - In the annual Crosstown Showdown between Northview and Southview and it was tightly contested for the three sets with Northview pulling off the victory to move to 7-11 and 3-3 in the NLL Buckeye Division.
Leading for the Cats was sophomore middle blocker, Frankie Ramsdell-Washington with 9 kills, hitting .353; and the outside hitter combo of senior Zoe Denny and junior Talia Twigg with 8 kills a piece. The Cats received double digit digs from seniors Paige LaBudda and Claire Swartz with 12 and 10 respectively. Northview recorded a 15 aces on the match with LaBudda leading the way with 5 and Swartz with 3. Sophomore setter, Alayna Sauer, dished out 26 assists with 3 digs and 3 aces and Ramsdell-Washington added a team high 5 blocks.
Northview returns to the court on Saturday as they travel to Olentangy Liberty for a non-conference match-up.
