Texas High School Football - Abilene Christian trounces Holy Cross
October 3, 2025: Abilene, TX 79601 In Friday's non-league match, the host Abilene Christian Panthers football squad scored a decisive 60-14 triumph over the Holy Cross Crusaders.
The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Weatherford Christian (Weatherford, TX). The Lions come into the TAPPS Six-Man Division II District 1 (6 Man) match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Weatherford Christian routed Dallas Academy (Dallas, TX), 45-0, in a non-league battle.
The Crusaders now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to San Jacinto Christian Academy for a TAPPS Six-Man Division III District 1 (6 Man) battle on Friday, October 10. Holy Cross will play a Patriots team coming off a 84-7 non-league win over Plainview Classical Academy (Plainview, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 3-3.
