In Friday's non-league match, the host Arcadia Firebirds football squad scored a good 37-19 triumph over the Lancaster Red Devils.

The Firebirds (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Washington (Princess Anne, MD). The Jaguars come into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Washington defeated Nandua (Onley, VA), 36-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Red Devils confront the Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 3. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
