The Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) football tipped the host Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH), 14-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Falcons now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host McDowell for a non-league game on Friday, October 10. Austintown-Fitch will face a Trojans team coming off a 45-27 league win over Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-4.

The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Hoover (North Canton, OH). The Vikings enter the Federal game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Hoover was nipped by McKinley (Canton, OH), 21-20, in a league outing.
