The Avon Grove Red Devils (West Grove, PA) football edged the host Unionville Longhorns (Kennett Square, PA), 29-28 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Red Devils face the Oxford Hornets (Oxford, PA) in a Ches-Mont - American game, on Friday, October 10. Avon Grove will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 28-21 league loss to East (West Chester, PA).

With the defeat, Unionville drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Kennett (Kennett Square, PA) to clash with the Blue Demons in a Ches-Mont - American outing on Friday, October 10.
