The Halifax Academy Knights football team (Daytona Beach, FL), was crushed 49-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Baker County Wildcats (Glen St. Mary, FL)

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Suwannee (Live Oak, FL). The Bulldogs enter the 3A District 2 contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Suwannee was trounced by Wakulla (Crawfordville, FL), 30-23, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Duval Charter Panthers (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 9. Halifax Academy will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 0-7 record after their 47-27 non-league loss to Bell (Bell, FL).
